Abstract. Based on the phase-frequency model of phase encoding of neural messages in the brain a model of grid cells of the spatial coding in hippocampal formation is presented. It is shown that a specific recurrent neural organization model is the determining factor in the formation of neural associations of different levels, encryption key spatial variables - location, orientation, linear and angular velocity, coordinate activity of neural ensembles in the navigation behavior.
